Marion County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson says the best thing residents can do is be prepared for the worst. FEMA urges all households to put together a disaster supplies kit of basic items that members of the household may need in the event of a disaster. Anderson says these kits should include a variety of materials such as flashlights, medications, food, water and first aid supplies.
