Art 101 in Knoxville will kick off a month long exhibit this evening with an artist reception. The Works of the Heart exhibit was put together by Community Care Incorporated and features pieces from more than 30 Iowans with disabilities. Art 101 co-owner Frank Mathias says a variety of pieces will be on display.
The traveling show will be on display at Art 101 for the Month of April before moving on to another community. Mathias says invites all area residents to come support Iowa art at the opening reception.
The unique pieces will also be on for sale for art lovers who would like to take a piece or two home. The reception will be held from 6-9pm Saturday and is free and open to the public.
