A Des Moines man charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of a Knoxville woman waived his right to a speedy trial Friday, according to Marion County Court officials. Terry Tobias Cobbins Jr. allegedly shot and killed Teresa Louise Miller in her Knoxville home on January 10th after being hired to commit the crime by Teresa’s husband Michael. The trial will be held in October. Cobbins has pled not guilty. Michael Miller is currently being held in the jail on a $1 million bond, the trial for his first degree murder charge is scheduled for May 10th.
