While only playing two seasons with the Northwest Missouri State Softball program, former Knoxville Standout Kitty Daugherty has carved out a great two year career. This week it was announced that she was voted a first team all-Mid America Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Daugherty leads the Bearcats with a 380 batting average, and put together a school record 19 game hitting streak this season. During that streak she hit an amazing 468 with five home runs and 17 R-B-Is. Daugherty is also ranked in the top ten of the league in average, runs, stolen bases, and led the league with three triples. Northwest Missouri State is playing in the MIAA tournament this week.
