The Knoxville City Council held a work session Monday night to discuss options regarding city wastewater treatment facility improvements. Interim City Manager Dan Losada says two options were considered, and the city chose the option that would allow for the maximum flexibility for expansion should any medium or large size industry decide to move to Knoxville. Construction could begin as early as 2013, or as late as 2017.
