Lake Red Rock has been chosen as a study site to test a new mandatory life jacket wear program. The US Army Corps of Engineers will be seeking public input on the program throughout this year, before implementation in 2012. The agency is the largest provider of water related recreation, the Corps is trying to find ways to decrease fatalities on the water and they are also seeking the public’s input.
