Staff of the Pelladium, the monthly school newspaper from Pella High School, have been recognized with 22 awards from the Iowa High School Newspaper Association. The student journalists took eight first place awards, five second place awards, 4 third place awards and five honorable mentions. Palladium Advisor Ann Visser says she’s very proud of the work the students have done, and winning the most individual awards against school papers of all sizes from the state is a great honor.
