Lucas Boyd fired a team-best 77 to qualify for the Class 3-A District Golf Meet as an individual, but the Pella boys came up short as a team in Friday’s Sectional meet at Bos Landen in Pella.

The Little Dutch fired a combined score of 365 to finish fourth, while the Knoxville boys took sixth place with a score of 384. Nevada took first place in the team standings with a 337 and Ballard took second place with a 349 to qualify for next Friday’s District Golf Meet.

While Boyd had the low-score for Pella, Knoxville’s Chris Barkey shot an 88 to lead the way for the Panthers.
