Two area girls golf teams will try to earn their way to the class two-A Districts today as Pleasantville and P-C-M will travel to Albia for the District Tournament. Pleasantville is a co-favorite with Albia. The Trojans have not lost a regular season match in two years and just missed the state tournament last year. Coach Dan Calhoun says five of his six top players have been either medalist of runner-up in all of the meets this season. P-C-M Coach Val Edwards says her team has always had a goal of a state meet appearance, but know they must likely knock off one of the favorites on Monday to have a shot.
