Practice makes perfect, even if you have to drive two hours to practice on the very course that you will play on. That is exactly what the Pleasantville Girls Golf Squad did on Saturday. The Trojans, as a team drove to The Lenox Golf Course and played a practice round to prepare for the Pride of Iowa Conference Tournament. It must have worked because five Trojan golfers earned all-conference and Pleasantville overwhelmed the field winning the conference by 41 shots over runner-up Bedford. Kaitlyn Friday was medalist with an 84 while Konnor Gordon was runner-up with an 88. Other all-Pride of Iowa Conference for Pleasantville were: Ashley Janher in sixth with a 90, Morgan Marsh in eighth with a 95, and Charley Vanderpool in 11th with a 98.
