The boys golf teams from PCM, Pella Christian and Pleasantville all competed at Colfax-Mingo on Friday, but ultimately found themselves chasing the host team, as the Tigerhawks shot a combined score of 331 to claim first place at their home course.  
The PCM boys took second place with a 342, led by Logan Van Veen’s individual score of 83, which tied him for third place.  Curtis Rozenboom and Drew Stravers each fired an 85 to lead the way for Pella Christian, as the Eagles finished in fourth place with a 351.  Pleasantville was ten strokes behind PC, taking sixth place with a 361.  The Trojans were led by Cody Marsh, who fired an 84.
Saydel’s Travis Newman had the low round of 77 to take Medalist honors, while Colfax-Mingo’s Dylan Berkey was one of three Tigerhawks in the top five; carding a 79 to finish runner-up.
