Buddy the Beaver is making his first appearance of the year Saturday at Lake Red Rock. Buddy will lead kids activities and safety games around Whitebreast Beach from 1-2 pm. Park Ranger Tracy Spry says the the focus is on swimming safety, noting the importance of always having a swimming plan in place to let people know where you are and when you plan to be there. She says Buddy will make several appearances throughout the summer.
