Knoxville fell to Chariton 4-1 last night in softball. Katie Ayers got three infield hits while Heather Walters also got a base hit. Jessica Stickel took the loss allowing four runs on five hits, one walk and six strikeouts. Knoxville is now eight-and-16 on the season and will step back into Little Hawkeye Conference play tonight against Norwalk.
