The Marion County Fair is just over two weeks away, and entertainment is being lined up for the entire week. Sheep, beef, swine, horses, and other livestock will be shown throughout the week, keeping the Show Pavilion busy. The Pinewood Derby will be on Friday night at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. Saturday is the 4-H Night at the Knoxville Raceway, and Sunday features a concert by 3rd Generation. There’s a Mutton Bustin’ contest on Monday night, a talent show on Tuesday night, the 4-H Parade of Champions on Wednesday, and many more activities. Knoxville Raceway Director of Marketing Brian Stickel, who helped line up the entertainment, says that between the grandstand shows, the exhibits, and the carnival, and other activities, there will be plenty of affordable fun for everyone. Be sure to stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS as we give you more information as the fair gets closer. We’ll be broadcasting live with the Big Red Radio every day from the fair.
