Melcher-Dallas is having a fine season on the baseball diamond. Coach John Sunkten says he is pleased with how the players have come together. Four of the nine starters are either eighth graders or freshman. Sunkten adds the seniors are also doing well in leading the team. The Saints are currently unbeaten in the Bluegrass Conference. They do have to finish a conference game and the rest of the B-G-C season then they look towards the postseason.
