The Pella Opera House was buzzing with activity Monday as preparations are being made for a visit by former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin tonight.
Larry Peterson, President of the Board of Directors for the Opera House says they only learned about the screening last Thursday, and tickets for both the movie and the cookout to follow are already gone.
He says the best shot at catching a glimpse of the 2008 Vice Presidential nominee would be after the movie while the crowd moves to the Molengracht for the cookout. The screening of “The Undefeated” is set to begin at 5 pm.
And to give area Republicans a chance to see who many consider a 2012 Presidential hopeful, the Marion County Republican Central Committee meeting has been moved from Tuesday night to Wednesday night.
