Though they slid a few spots this week, the PCM softball team still remains among the top 15 programs in Class 2-A; according to the latest poll released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. The Mustangs entered the week with a 7-3 record and are at No. 11 in the rankings, down four spots from last week.
Bondurant-Farrar remains at No. 1 in Class 2-A this week, with Clear Creek-Amana and Muscatine also holding on to the tops spots in Class 3-A and 4-A, respectively.
Akron-Westfield also repeats as the top-ranked team in Class 1-A, with a pair of nearby schools following in the rankings. The North Mahaska softball team is up nine positions to No. 6 in this week’s poll; with nearby Lynnville-Sully sliding five spots to No. 12.
