With their offense hitting on all cylinders, the Pella Christian baseball team kept the victory machine moving forward, as they swept a pair of games with South Tama, 16-11 and 11-1.
Micah Nieboer was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate and Curtis Rozenboom went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and two walks to lead the Eagles in game one.
The strong hitting backed up pitcher Jordan Rossler, who pitched the final 5 2/3 innings to earn the victory; giving up to runs and three walks while striking out nine South Tama batters.
The Eagles needed just five innings to close the door on the Trojans in the second game.  Tom Bouwkamp was impressive on the mound, allowing only three hits and one walk while striking out seven to earn the win.
The Eagles continued to hit the ball well, as Rossler was 4-for-4 with a two-RBI double, stole two bases, and scored three runs.  Zach Zylstra also put three runs on the board for Pella Christian, with a three-run home run over the center field fence.
The sweep of South Tama pushes Pella Christian to 11-3 in the Little Hawkeye Conference, and 17-8 overall.
