Combining for 30 hits and 24 runs, the Pella baseball team put the hurt on Oskaloosa on Wednesday night in Pella to sweep the season series with the Indians.
The Little Dutch had 14 hits in a 12-2 win in six innings in game one.  Starting pitcher Chris Bandstra kept the Oskaloosa batters at bay, while greatly helping his own cause by going 3-for-4 at the plate with a home run and 5 RBI.
The Little Dutch again had strong pitching in the second game, as Schyler Kane struck out six Oskaloosa batters in a 12-4 win for Pella.
Seemingly every player on the Pella roster had a hit, but it was Daniel Langenfeld’s 5-for-5, 4 RBI performance that stood above the rest.
The Pella baseball team is now even at 7-7 in the Little Hawkeye Conference and stands at 10-12 overall.
