Pella Regional Health Center has been re-certified as a Level III Trauma Care facility.
Certified Trauma Care facilities have the resources to provide initial stabilization for trauma patients and may provide surgical or critical care when appropriate.
Leading the re-certification process for Pella Regional was Dr. Matt Morgan, general surgeon, Dr. Jeff Hartung, emergency physician, and Sherri Church, trauma nurse coordinator.
