Pleasantville Girls Golf Leads After 1 Round At State; Pella’s Van Tasell 44th In 3A

Pleasantville holds a one stroke lead after round one of the Class 2A State Girls Golf Tournament. The Trojans shot a 367 led by Kaitlyn Friday’s 87. Clarinda is second with a 368 and Wappello is third with a 370. The second and final round is today at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny. In class three-A, Pella’s Kelsey Van Tasell is in 44th after the opening round of the state meet at River Valley Golf Club.
