State Representative Jim Van Engelenhoven has announced he will not seek re election in 2012. KNIAKRLS News spoke with Van Engelenhoven Thursday morning.

He says there was some talk between he and Representative Guy Vander Linden of Oskaloosa after new congressional maps were drawn earlier this year, but just who will be running in the new district is not yet known. The Republican from Pella was first elected to the House in 1998.
