The Pella City Council will meet in a special session tonight. A quorum could not be assembled last night to discuss all the matters before the council. Tonight’s meeting will focus on contract agreements for power supply and transmission with Missouri River Energy Services. Pella City Administrator Mike Nardini says the move would allow the city to better control utility costs over the long term. The Council will meet to vote on this issue tonight at 6 pm at the Public Safety Complex.
