For the seventh time in as many years, Central College head wrestling coach Eric Van Kley found himself in the midst of the largest wrestling tournament in the world, as he coached in the U.S. Cadet & Junior National Greco-Roman tournament last Sunday through Tuesday.

Held in Fargo, North Dakota, the tournament included around 3,000 high school competitors, including a group of 17 and 18-year-olds coached by Van Kley.  His athletes finished sixth out of 30 teams and featured six All-Americans.

Eric Van Kley is entering his fifth season as head coach at Central College and will aim to build on the success that saw the team claim their highest finish in the Iowa Conference tournament in fifteen years.
