Parts of Pella experienced a brief power outage late yesterday morning. The outage affected customers on the north side of town around the Fountain Hills, Park Lane and Sunset Hills neighborhoods.

Electrical Services Director Larry Peterson tells KNIA/KRLS News the outage was caused by a faulty underground cable, which was located and repaired yesterday.

The outage last about two hours and power was restored around 1:30.
