The Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Foundation has donated $2100 toward the purchase of a new cross trainer for the Cardio Pulmonary Department at Knoxville Hospital & Clinics. The cross trainer, called the NuStep T4, allows patients to improve their cardio vascular endurance in a safe and monitored environment. Connie Pace, director of the Cardio Pulmonary Department, says that the T4 is especially great for the cardiac rehab patients, and will help them excel while recovering from heart disease.
