Knoxville Hospital & Clinics has a new cross trainer for its Cardio Pulmonary Department. It was purchased in part with a $2100 donation from the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Foundation. The cross trainer, called the NuStep T4, allows patients to improve their cardio vascular endurance in a safe and monitored environment. Connie Pace, director of the Cardio Pulmonary Department, says that the T4 is especially great for the cardiac rehab patients, and will help them excel while recovering from heart disease.
