The Knoxville Softball Squad in 2011 was a very young team to say the least. Only three seniors were on this season’s roster. Much of Coach Steph Christner’s line up this past season however, included freshmen and even a couple of eighth graders. At one time at the tail end of the season there was an underclassman at center field, right field, second base, shortstop, and catcher. Christner says the underclassmen gave a fine effort and she looks forward to having the girls for the next few seasons.
