Local law enforcement has been brushing up on current trends in the world of Internet crimes. Pella Police Lt. Paul Haase recently participated in some training with the Iowa Crimes Against Children Task Force. He says the training focused on how to carry out an investigation when someone comes forward with information regarding an Internet crime. He says those include things such as cyberbullying, online predators and child pornography.
