The new high water beach at Red Rock’s North Overlook is open just in time for the holiday weekend. Following flooding in 2008, work began on a beach that would be accessible at any lake level.

This is good timing for the opening of the North Overlook beach, as the Whitebreast beach is inaccessible due to flood storage levels.

The Red Rock Lake Association is currently looking for volunteers to help open a new concession stand, which is currently under construction. If you’re interested, contact Matt Kissinger at 641-416-0241
