The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team took to the airwaves early this morning as a line of thunderstorms quickly passed through the area.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning at 3:35 am for a system producing high winds in excess of 60 miles per hour.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has not yet received any reports of damage, however the Pella Police Department received reports of roof damage at Pella Implement, 655 Highway T-14 just north of town. The warning expired at 4:15 am.
