The VA Task Force is reforming. Former Knoxville mayor and police chief Harv Sprafka tells KNIA/KRLS News that he and a few Marion County community leaders have already met with James Washington and his partner Aubrey Wilson, the new developers at the old VA Hospital Campus. Sprafka says he hopes to release the full list of names for the new Task Force by the beginning of next week. He comments that the new task force will represent the business, manufacturing, industrial, educational, and tourist interests of Marion County as they work with Washington and his group, the Knoxville Veteran’s Growth Alliance.
