With the 51st Annual Knoxville Nationals just a month and a half away, the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers to help keep the city running smoothly during the weekend. Aanna Hoch, Chamber Director, says that they currently have 22 parties that are looking for homes to stay in while they are in town for the races. If you do host a family, you’ll be paid a stipend. They are also looking for volunteers to help monitor the Young’s Park parking lot, and for people to drive the shuttle trucks around. The trucks carry passenger wagons throughout the city, dropping passengers off at various locations. If you have any questions about any of these possibilities, Hoch says to call the Chamber office at 828-7555, and she’d be glad to answer them.
