[simage=3697,200,y,left] The Knoxville Police Department says a string of car burglaries were reported this weekend. From Friday through Sunday, the Police Department says there were eight reports of motor vehicles being broken into. Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada says that all the vehicles were unlocked at the time of the burglaries, and that some had their windows open. The incidents are still under investigation, and there are no suspects at this time. Losada says it’s important to keep your vehicle locked up and any valuables in your vehicle out of sight.
