The Pella City Council met in regular session last night. During the relatively short meeting, the Council approved a public hearing date of September 6th for bids for the Southeast Switching Station and the extension project at the West Generating Plant. Council also approved ordinances raising fees for solid waste removal by six, 12 and 18 cents per month depending on the size of container.
