The Knoxville City Council met in special session on Tuesday morning to authorize pre-applications for the Knoxville Community Development Block Grant. Knoxville Zoning Administrator Cindy Glick says that the grant is for rehab on homes in Knoxville. The amount is $265,000, and it is meant to be spread over eight different owner-occupied houses. Glick says that the grant is for households with low-to-moderate income. Call City Hall for more information on the grant or to see if you fit under those guidelines.
