The Knoxville Police Department has had a break in the case of a string of motor vehicle thefts that have occurred recently in Knoxville. Police Chief Dan Losada says they’ve recovered a number of small electronic items typically found in cars, such as iPods, laptops, and cell phone accessories. He says that these items have all been taken from cars, both parked on the street and in garages. Losada says that they are still in the process of interviewing suspects and victims, and have not filed any charges yet. KNIA/KRLS will bring you more details as they become official.
