The Iowa State Fair is winding down this weekend, but locals continue to place well in several contests and exhibits. Jake Reede of Bussy won the lightweight class with both left and right arms in the 33rd Annual Monster Arm Wrestling competition. Baily Core of Pleasantville won the Crossbred Division One Championship in the 4-H Market Steer Show. Madison Harken of Pleasantville exhibited the Reserve Grand Champion Market Pig, which had earlier been named Champion Heavy Weight Barrow and Reserve Champion Market Barrow.
