There will be a change at the Knoxville Raceway next year. John McCoy will replace Ralph Capitani as the new Race Director at Knoxville Raceway. McCoy currently serves as the Competition Director, and has been a driver and mechanic in past years. Capitani, who is retiring atfter working at the track for 44 years, says no one is more qualified to replace him than McCoy. McCoy will officially take over next year. The Raceway is also hiring a general manager. The search to fill that position is ongoing.
