The new hydroelectric facility at Lake Red Rock will have the capacity to power about 18,000 homes and businesses. Bill Radio, spokesman for Missouri River Energy Services says an added bonus is that peak flow times will likely be during times of the year when air conditioners are running, demanding the most power. The facility will generate its power based on outflow from the Dam as determined by the US Army Corps of Engineers.
