During the week of July 31, 2011, to August 6, 2011, the Pella Police Department received 144
calls for service, issued 29 citations, issued 35 warning citations, issued 19 parking tickets and
arrested five people resulting in five charges.

COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS

During the week of July 31, 2011, to August 6, 2011, the communications center fielded 347
telephone calls, assisted 54 people at the window, and fielded 41 incoming calls on the 911
system.

ARRESTs

On 07-31-11 Rebecca A. Van Donselaar, 34, of Pella was charged with two counts of
child endangerment. Rebecca was incarcerated for the night.
On 08-01-11 Kayla J. Post, 24, of Pella was charged with domestic abuse. Kayla was
incarcerated for the night.
On 08-02-11 Herbert Bolden, 24, of Pella was charged with possession of marijuana.
Herbert was pre-trial released with a court date set for his appearance.
On 08-02-11 a juvenile of Pella was charged with possession of marijuana. He was cited
and released to a guardian.
On 08-05-11 Lyle A. Riggs, Sr., 40, of Harvey was charged with neglect of a dependent
person. Lyle was incarcerated for the night.
