Pella Corporation and Vermeer along with the City of Pella have been recognized with the Iowa Environmental Excellence Award. The award recognizes those groups’ efforts to support an e-cycling event each spring, where citizens can drop off used appliances to be properly disposed of at no charge. This is one of 20 such awards handed out by the Governor’s office across the state.
