A Des Moines attorney who has practiced in Marion County has had his license suspended The Iowa Supreme Court ruled today that the law license of Eric K. Parrish is to be suspended for sixty days. The ruling relates a number of instances where Parrish withdrew money from clients’ retainer accounts before earning the money, and then refused to return unearned portions of the retainer. One of the clients was being tried in Marion County in 2005 and 2006 on methamphetamine charges, as theft in the second degree.
