Three City Council seats and the Office of Mayor of Pella are up for election this fall. Wards two and four, represented by Rich Savery and Tony Bokhoven, respectively and an at-large seat currently filled by Jim Mueller, who has announced his candidacy for Mayor, are all up for the November election. Citizens interested in running must submit nomination papers signed by no fewer than 25 eligible electors. The candidate filing period is August 29th through September 22nd.
