The Pella Office of Iowa Workforce Development will be closed effective September 1st. The move comes as field offices all over the state are being closed and services moved to other facilities like public libraries.

In place of a staffed office, computer kiosks with special software would be available to job seekers. Pella Public Library Director Wendy Street says the Library Board will be discussing the matter at their next meeting September 13th.

Until a decision is made about where to locate the Workforce Development computer, those services will be available online at iowaworkforce.org.
