The final round of the Wisconsin-Green Bay Invitational only got tougher for the Central College men’s golf squad. The Dutch continued to struggle keeping big numbers off the scorecard, tying for seventh in the NCAA Division I meet.

Central shot a two-day score of 630 on a windy day at the par-72 Green Bay Country Club. Butler University rallied to capture the tournament title at 606 and St. Ambrose University followed at 608. Central was the only Division III school in the field.

Freshman Desmond Stoll tied for 12th in the individual standings with a 154, a highlight of the opening fall season tournament. The Dutch travel to Dubuque for the Clarke Invitational at the Thunder Hills Country Club Sunday and Monday. Sunday’s round is slated to begin at 11 a.m.
