Central College has cracked the Division III men’s cross country regional rankings. The Dutch are No. 9 in the Central Region rankings, produced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Hamline sits atop the poll. Iowa Conference rival Loras is No. 5, while Luther is No. 8. The Central men are off to a fast start. The squad took second in the Central Dutch Invitational Sept. 3. And last Saturday they placed third in a 14-team field at the St. Olaf Invitational.

The Dutch have this weekend off, then compete at the Grand View Invitational Sept. 30.
