Troubles continued Tuesday night for the Pella volleyball team, as the Lady Dutch were swept in three games at Oskaloosa. Pella found itself in an early 0-2 hole, after struggling to score in the first two games; falling 25-9 and 25-12. The Lady Dutch tried to stage a comeback in the third set, but came up short in a 25-23 loss.

Miscues were the story of the night, as Pella committed 42 unforced errors and had 25 attack errors in the three games. Shannon Ewing led the Lady Dutch in kills with six and digs with seven, Morgan Ernst dished out 16 assists and was 8-of-8 servicing with two aces; while Kim Korver also added seven digs on defense.

The loss drops Pella to 0-3 in the Little Hawkeye Conference and 2-13 overall, with their next match against Centerville on Thursday.
