The first Nana Jana Fun Run takes place this Saturday, the 24th. The 5k run/walk will take place at Dan-D Farms, south of Knoxville. Proceeds raised go toward ovarian cancer awareness. According to the Nation Ovarian Cancer Coalition, over 14,000 women die each year from the disease. Organizer Dan Dennison says over 150 people have already registered.
