The Eighth Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals begin Thursday night at the Knoxville Raceway. This is also the final event that Race Director Ralph Capitani will preside over before he officially retires at the end of the season. Capitani says the Late Model Nationals have grown over the first seven races, and provides fans with some very exciting racing. He hopes that all of the events put on by the Knoxville Raceway continue to grow in the future. The Late Model Nationals are set for this Thursday with hot laps set to being around 6:45.
